Yesterday I got to hang out with Abbey for the first time in a couple years. She was in the area (and by “in the area” I mean “two-ish hours away”) due to a Killers concert that I’m still bitter about not being able to attend. That’s two concerts in one month that I had to miss. Grrrr. Limecat is not pleased.

Spending time with Abbey helped to mitigate the pain in my soul, because she’s awesome. We talked about everything ever and got caught up on the latest gossip surrounding people we know from back in the day. There was also a visit to a bookstore where I bought cheap CDs and an attempted trip to an eatery that was having some sort of show tunes sing-along. It’s probably best that we didn’t go there, since I know almost no show tunes. Yes, I’m turning in my Gay Card tomorrow.

Music on the trip down was provided by a lovely pair of mixes from Ebby. Coming back, I listened to the (very good) Faithless album I acquired during my CD buying spree. I also have to admit that I bought the I’m Too Sexy single by Right Said Fred, thinking that it might be fun. Unfortunately, it wasn’t really worth the fiddy cents it cost, since none of the mixes is all that exciting.

Yesterday on a scale of 1 to 10: Seeing Abbey: 2300. Buying CDs: 9. Ebby’s Mixes: 10. Excitement over potential of Right Said Fred CD: 8. Actual enjoyment of RSF CD: 1.

If anybody other than Abbey and me gets the title, you totally win a prize.

It was AWESOME to see you as well! Didn't we add "Kutchen" as well? The…Earless of Puppydom? What's the female equivalent of Earl?

    LOVE!!!!!

hey, random reply to an old post, but I’ve no recollection of what those mixes were! I was searching for something else completely and this post cropped up in google.

I did a little hunting around and found the entry where you posted the mixes. Not sure why I didn’t link to it to begin with!
