We Can Get Clean Together

April 17th, 2005Randomness6 Comments

Seeing as all the cool kids have been making lists lately, I felt the need to jump on the bandwagon.

I now present the top ten dishes I most hate washing…

  1. Peanut butter knives (though I love peanut butter)
  2. Thin flower vases (not technically a dish, but WHATEVER)
  3. Anything oily
  4. Those plastic Ziploc food storage thingies
  5. Large pots
  6. Cereal bowls that have been sitting out
  7. Any plate or bowl where all the food wasn’t finished
  8. Pyrex casserole dishes
  9. Whisks

And the number one dish I most hate washing is…

Colanders. Ugh. They have all these little holes and they get the starchy pasta juice all over inside and out and they’re such a pain. If someone told me that I never had to wash another colander in my life, that would be incredible news.

On a Scale of 1 to 10

April 16th, 2005Friends / Randomness2 Comments

Tonight Cliff and I were chatting and came up with the “adam scale.” It, well, it doesn’t really rate anything. And it kind of means whatever I want it to.

For example: “This dinner is an 8.3 on the adam scale.” “See that duck over there? It’s a 2 on the adam scale.”

So basically, it’s the best rating system ever created.

This post? Definitely a 6.
