I’ve got quite a few things in the pipeline to write about, but right now I need to shower and sleep. So you’ll have to wait for your adam fix.

Man, my days are so disjointed. But music makes it better. Shiloh continues to kick ass… their newest track Reaction (So Far) is great.

So today I went running. It seemed like a good idea, what with the weather being so freaking nice and all. I head west out Mt. Clinton and take a right at the bottom of the hill, then the next left onto Amberly. After that it’s a left onto Singer’s Glen and a straight shot back to the city. Only adam managed to have one of his blondest moments ever. Instead of going straight, I took a right… and then a left… and then another right, so I ended up going west — the exact opposite direction of where I wanted to be headed. It took me much too long to figure this out, in spite of nothing looking at all familiar. I even got to the point where I was walking because I was tired like woah, and anybody who knows me and running knows I hate having to walk.
I did finally figure it out though and headed back. By the time I got onto Mt. Clinton again, I had recovered enough to run, and I ran most of the way back, stopping for a bit to check out the most excellent sunset. Total time: about two hours. I think I need some new running shoes.

Today’s Strong Bad Email has Strong Sad using an iPod. It’s one of the old kind, but still cool. And I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever write a song about the iPod.
I got Crydamore Presents Waves II today! So far I’m not quite as in love with it as I was the first one, it’s really really good. As usual, Le Knight Club turns in some awesome tracks, and the other Crydamourians pull some great performances too. If you’re into funky house music, this is another great album for your collection.

I guess I’m not as much of a geek as we all thought. How much geek are you?.
In other news, we’re having our first good thunderstorm in a while. With the thunder and the lightening and all that coolness. I wish we had a covered porch so I could go outside and not get wet and watch the storm. Oh well. I <3 thunderstorms. :-)

Today I got around to making the journal archives a little more accessible (see that nice right column?). I also cleaned up the links page with some adding and removing, and tweaked up the about page and the design history. That is all.

Nettwerk has a couple free tracks for download: Delerium - After All and Tiësto - Lethal Industry (Live Mix). Both good stuff.

Yesterday was Greg and April’s wedding, which was in PA, so it was a bit of a drive up and back. The weather wasn’t the best on the way up, as it was raining a lot, but it was better on the way back. The wedding was nice, plus I got to hang out with Dave which is never a bad thing. Congrats to Greg and April and best wishes. :-)
At the reception after the wedding, there were these two girls who sat with Dave and me for a bit and out of nowhere one of them asked "Did you like the second Matrix? [we said that we did] Well, I didn’t. We walked out." Huh? It was like she felt the need to share with people she had met maybe two minutes before the fact that she was offended by the Zion temple scene. I guess a couple of years ago I would have been too (for the record I thought it was very artfully done and had great music with it). I just find it interesting how some people will condemn whatever they don’t like any chance they get.
That experience also brings up thoughts of how interacting with conservative christians is getting stranger and stranger for me. I don’t have the same sense of moral outrage that seems to be so prevalent in much of christian culture. So when a person talks about being offended by the Matrix all I can do is acknowledge their point of view. Hm… yeah. That’s all my thoughts there for now.
Not much else really… my contacts came yesterday, and that’s really nice. I look so much better without my glasses. Hehe.

Something I (somehow) forgot to mention is that I went to see Finding Nemo Monday night, and it was excellent. Highly recommended. Great story, interesting characters, very funny jokes. Ellen DeGeneres is hilarious as the voice of Dory, and I loved the sppeeeeaaaakkkingggg wwhhhaaaaallleeeee part. Hehe.
So yesterday morning I was putting in my contacts and the left one ripped. And I don’t have any more. Oh postal service (not the band of the same name), please bring them to me soon.
Last night after delicious Jamaican food at the Little Grill with Tonya and Kline’s, I came back home and was all "I’m going to the weight room," and then I realized that I was way too tired. So at about 7:45, I went to bed and proceeded to sleep for almost 12 hours. I loves me some sleep.
OMG! My roommates just showed me 20 Questions. It’s an artificial intelligence program that will guess an object in 20 questions or less (hence the name). I was amazed on my first time through when I thought of a capacitor and it guessed correctly! I was all <keanu reeves>woah</keanu reeves>. Very cool.
Now for a short trip into Seriousland(tm). For a while now, pretty much ever since I realized that I’m not sure what I believe about god or religion, I’ve been feeling guilty about it. I guess maybe it’s normal to feel kind of bad about what seems like an abandoning of what I’ve believed pretty much my whole life. I think I’ve finally more truly come to terms with my current state of spirituality and belief. There is still weirdness sometimes when I’m around people who assume I believe the same way they do, but that’s to be expected. It’s cool to be pretty happy with who I am.
