This is how nanovivid.com has looked over the years…

whiteroom

March 2005

nanovivid.com "whiteroom" design
Originally, Whiteroom was going to have four color modes (blue, green, yellow, and pink), but I ended up just going with blue. It was definitely a unique design, but after three years, it was time for something new.

Memory

August 2004

nanovivid.com "memory" design
Memory was created as the design for the blog my mom wanted to start, but never was able to. I used it for my site in her honor.

Fresh

November 2003

nanovivid.com "fresh" design
Fresh was quite a development effort, with six or seven versions in the mockup stage alone. I was quite happy with the unique look that resulted.

Retro2

July 2003

nanovivid.com "retro2" design
I liked Retro a lot, but it was needing a refresh, so I switched up the colors.

Retro

April 2003

nanovivid.com "retro" design
Retro was the first nv layout with no pictures, just a logo graphic. The colors were inspired by a Trading Spaces room.

Winterlicious

January 2003

nanovivid.com "winterlicious" design
Winterlicious featured a changing header image and felt crisp and cool.

Holiday Cheer

December 2002

nanovivid.com "holiday cheer" design
I found the picture by Kriegs and it was perfect for what I wanted to do. I tired of it pretty quickly though, and was ready to move on.

Tree

October 2002

nanovivid.com "tree" design
The initial design when I first launched the site. The main page was the full tree and then secondary pages had part of the tree in the top left corner.
